Centennial Cornerstone Campaign

Invitation
Centennial Cornerstone Campaign Kick-off Invitation sent to all of our Dayton Masonic Center Members

It all started when…

In 1924, 357 members of the Masonic Fraternity raised $1.5 million in ten days to erect the Iconic Dayton Masonic Center for the enjoyment of the fraternal membership in the Miami Valley. The building on the hill was completed and dedicated in 1928, with the Masonic membership raising an additional $1 million before completion. These masons had a vision that the facility would serve the various fraternal organizations that it housed and the Dayton Community for many years to come. That legacy has endured throughout the years.

Thirty-one years ago, the Masonic Leadership made a momentous decision to restore the Dayton Masonic Center to its original historical grandeur. Since that time, the Masonic Fraternity and its supporters have invested $12,865,000 in capital improvements. Today, this gift of the Masons to the Miami Valley stands with its neighbors, the Dayton Art Institute and the Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, as icons of the Dayton landscape.

As you can imagine, the cost of operating this historical building daily is substantial

. So this year, visionary Masons launched an ambitious three-year initiative to secure our building's future with a $20 million capital campaign in coordination with our building’s 100th anniversary. Extraordinary goals require extraordinary vision and commitment.

We invite you to join us for the Centennial Cornerstone Campaign Kick-off party as we honor our past and secure our future. Please download our pledge card and make a pledge or donation to contribute to our building’s future. No donation is too small; every penny helps.
